Urban Agriculture 101 - WVDA VETS Program

This is a ten-week course for participants in the West Virginia Department of Agriculture's Veterans and Heroes to Agriculture Program and part of the Veterans Education Training Series (VETS).

The course will focus on the business aspects of Urban Farming; however, the lessons, resources, and weekly live sessions will also apply to non-commercial production. By the end, participants will have a working business plan, a solid grounding in the potentials of urban agriculture, and hands-on practice with production planning for a raised-bed micro-farm.
